Cherry Cobbler in the Slow Cooker

Yum
Can you believe this fantastic looking Cherry Cobbler came out of the crock-pot and was made with only three ingredients?   My husband and kids went crazy for this warm and bubbly dessert with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.  This easy and delicious dessert cooks in 3 hours so the next time I have friends over for dinner, I am going to turn this dessert on in the crock-pot just before guest arrive so it will be hot and perfect by dessert time.

I've teamed up with some of my friends to bring you a great list of slow cooker dessert recipes today!  There are 10 scrumptious recipes to check out today.  If you love slow cooker dishes then check out #crocktoberfest2013 on facebook, twitter, and instagram to find all the other recipes that were shared this week.

Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick unsalted butter
2 cans cherry pie filling

Directions:

Spray crock-pot with cooking spray.  Pour the two cans of cherry pie filling on the bottom.  Sprinkle dry cake mix next and spread evenly.

Melt stick of butter in microwave (do not burn).  Pour the melted butter evenly over cake mix.  Cook on low setting for 3 hours .  Serve hot or warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.  Enjoy.
